History

The history of Huatai Insurance Agency & Consultant Service Ltd. dates back to 1993, mainly engaged in surveying and adjusting for foreign underwriters, being the first licensed insurance intermediary in China.

Before 1993 we conducted operations as International Business Department of the former People’s Insurance Company of China (the former “PICC”)

In 1998 Huatai was owned by China Re after PICC reforming.

In 2007 Huatai Surveyors & Adjusters Company was established as a subsidiary of Huatai Insurance Agency & Consultant Service Ltd.
